The Dorset Schools Orienteering Championships
at Moors Valley Country Park on 12 May 2017
This was the best attended Dorset School Champs yet, with over 160 children taking part.
My thanks to planner Andrew Howard, mapper/controller John Warren, and all my brilliant team of volunteers from the WIM & WSX clubs who gave up the afternoon to help organise the event.
If you visited all the controls the maximum score was 600 plus any bonus points for finishing early.
Congratulations to all the Year Group winners and to Clayesmore School and Emmanuel Middle School, Verwood, who won the Team titles. We had a record number of 165 children running and there were outstanding performances from club juniors Robert Munday, and Harry & Monty Bratcher-Howard.
